The color gold is often related to success, optimism, and winning. Gold is often linked with warmth, optimism, and prestige. While silver is typically linked to the moon and denoted as a feminine color, gold is often linked to the Sun and denotes masculinity (as it is the other side of the coin). Gold can be linked with prestige of the mind as well, often resembling wisdom with darker tones of gold, as well as mindful connection to soul. Gold, in its most well perceived sense, is linked to winningness, wealth, royalty, wisdom, and charisma. When perceived in its most negative light, gold is linked with egocentrism, lack of trust, and narcissistic. Glistening and bright gold is my favorite color because of the optimism and almost blind belief in myself it provides
